To all my family, friends, neighbors, former teachers,my coaches, my fellow parishioners, Fr. Will and Fr. John for your words of encouragement, my community, and to all those that I don't know personally and posted, I want to thank you for your support, your kind words and thoughts and for your perseverance in voting for what seems like a lifetime now. This has truly been an experience of great magnitude and very humbling. After a long morning of ACT testing, I returned home to learn that I

Lyndon is someone that you notice. He always has a smile and asks about you rather than just telling you about himself. Strong and gentle

Lyndon is an impressive, caring young man. I have known him since he was in preschool and have never known him to be anything but cheerful, helpful, and kind. I can remember how excited he was when his sisters were born - ready to help in any way. Although he's become a strong and capable athlete, he remains gentle and concerned about others, especially those smaller than him. I hope this scholarship helps you acheive your dreams, Lyndon!
