On the afternoon of Sunday May 22nd, 2011, a massive EF5 tornado tore through the town of Joplin, Missouri and absolutely decimated everything it touched. Everything save one brave young man. Quinton Anderson, 17 and a junior at Joplin High School, was at home with his parents when the tornado struck. He doesn’t remember what happened that afternoon. Quinton lost both parents in the horrific tornado and almost lost his own. He served as a co-captain for the Joplin Eagles but was unable to play due to his severe injuries. He never complains about his plight or plays the victim. He's not only the epitome of who we think a leader is, he portrays who we desire as a great American hero. Please vote for him
