I am so honored to be Jason's sister - he is the definition of inspiration. With our 7 year age difference, I can vividly recount most of what has happened throughout his life. Jason Jumper is not your ordinary high
school football player. As a 6 th
grader Jason had an emergency appendectomy and during surgery it was discovered
that he had cancer. Jason was
subsequently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Large B Cell Lymphoma. What followed was extensive care at A.
I. DuPont Hospital for Children located in Wilmington, Delaware. The treatment involved numerous rounds
of chemotherapy as well as spinal taps, blood transfusions and out-patient
