Josh Evans has a rare foot, bone, and joint disorder (Charcot-Marie-Tooth). It is hereditary. Josh went through 7 foot surgeries last year (2008) that kept him off the field, off the basketball court, and off the diamond. Josh kept his weight workouts going, upper body, and was a manager, film tech for the teams.
Josh has never let his disorder keep him from working hard, having a great attitude, being the best teammate that he can. He will most likely not see any action in a ball game, but he strives to play every day. We try to give him a play here and there, if it will not get him hurt. His team mates see his work ethic, heart, desire, and attitude daily.
He is truly an inspiration.
