I've been nominated - now what?

The first step will be to confirm with the parents and nominee that you and your parents wish to participate, and that you agree with the Official Rules (please read the Award FAQ for more information). If you are under the age of 18 at the time of submission, a representative from Trusted Sports will contact your parent or legal guardian to seek approval to participate. If you are over the age of 18 you may approve yourself. Watch your inbox and help get those approvals.

The second step is to add content to your online player profile. We strongly encourage you to build out your online player profile with videos, photos, stories, articles, and links as outlined below. The Fans and Selection Committee will evaluate your story based on everything you submit. The more you submit, the better your story will be represented!

How do I submit more information for my player profile?

Please email any videos, photos, stories, articles, and links and we will review, edit (if necessary) and upload to your player profile. Submissions should be sent to:

Videos

As the most powerful medium for conveying your message of inspiration and why you are the 'Rudy' on your team, video will be an integral part of the voting process and we strongly encourage you to submit videos as follows:

• Maximum three (3) videos
• Maximum video length of 3 minutes each
• Saved as .mov, .wmv, .avi, .mp4 only
• Maximum size 640 x 480 pixels

We recommend nominees contact film departments at their schools for assistance producing their videos. It's an excellent opportunity for young filmmakers to showcase their work to a national audience!

Photos

Your online profile includes a photo gallery, so please submit photos of you as a kid and young adult playing & inspiring your team or community:

• Maximum ten (10) photos
• .jpg, .gif, or .png only
• Maximum size 1200 x 800 pixels

Articles

Any past or present articles in newspapers or magazines about you can be scanned and emailed for submission.

Links

Any online videos, articles, blog posts, etc that help tell your story are welcome.

Stories

As an inspiration to your teammates, schoolmates, community, family, and others please ask them to share their stories how you have touched their lives. Please ask them to email their stories to us as .doc, .docx, .pages, .txt, or simply in the body of their email.
