Matt has exemplified great character on and off the field. When he gained a lot of weight, due to a knee injury last season that didn't stop him. Matt weighed about 370 and now he is 300. He made up his mind and lost the weight, that showed great courage and it really inspired a lot of people. He has really contributed to his team by working out in the gym and on the field, and commits fully to play the game that he loves so much.
