On June 25, 2007, Calob lost his leg in an accident. He underwent 9 different surgeries and many other skin issues that set him back. On August 28, 2009, he made his way back to the field with a prosthetic leg to hold kicks for his team. He is hoping to do more as the season goes on. He has inspired so many people, young and old, to never give up. His story is told all over to kids young and old to show that with determination and hard work any goal can be accomplished. Rudy is one of his favorite movies (before and after the accident). He touches people in a way that I have never seen. I can not do his story justice. . .please google his name, there are so many beautiful articles that people have written about this courageous young man.
